Drupa: Fedrigoni presents the main innovations in the first half year 2012
Fedrigoni SpA is once again attending Drupa, the most important international event in the graphic arts, printing and paper sector.
All Group companies and divisions – Fedrigoni, Arconvert, Manter, Fabriano, Fabriano Securites - will welcome clients and visitors to present their specific product lines and their latest innovations on a highly evocative stand entirely lined scintillating and colourful paper in the main hall dedicated to paper media (Hall 7.01 Stand E01).
The Paper and Security area - the core business of the Group - is represented by the Fedrigoni, Fabriano and Fabriano Securities brands: there are many innovations in this sphere.
Materica, the latest addition to the Fedrigoni family, is a range of papers embodying to the hand and eye the same sensorial perceptions as the natural elements that inspired them. A completely natural paper, without additives or de-inking or bleaching treatments, made exclusively with cotton and FSC pulp fibres.
The Packaging collection is the new guide facilitating choice among Fedrigoni's range of the best media for the luxury packaging sector.
Cocktail is the collection of pearly papers by Fabriano with 12 scintillating colours that immediately grab attention.
Lastly, the two new Fabriano publications bringing together all the main prestige ranges that this historic brand offers for conventional printing.
The Fabriano Securities division is exclusively dedicated to the production and printing of security threads, holographic products and stripes; It develops these technological, highly specialised anti-counterfeiting products on request in synergy with the other companies in the group.
The Converting business area - focusing on Arconvert Spa with its Brazilian subsidiary and Spanish sister company Manter - generates 30% of Group turnover. In the wake of the presentation at the last Labelexpo in Brussels, Drupa also welcomes the sparkling and innovative Sommelier & Gourmet selection of the most prestigious self-adhesive products for the world of wine and top-of-the-range food specialities for labelling and enhancing the personality of products. Yet converting for Fedrigoni also means industrial papers for the world of imitation leather (fashion, leatherwear, automotive, design).
“We enjoy daily contact with our customers – says Chiara Medioli, Marketing director of the Group - and, in a globalised context always linked electronically, an exhibition may seem superfluous. On the contrary, DRUPA is a precious occasion for meeting clients in a more open offsite context and helping them to expand their projects. It is also an important opportunity for synchronising printing technologies and vital media, such as paper, requiring expanding technical content, especially as regards digital printing - an area where the Fedrigoni Group offers the broadest range of special media in the world - but also for advanced packaging applications”.
